CHARLESTON, WV — This holiday season is extra special at West Law Firm as we proudly celebrate the 10th Annual Christmas Dog Sponsorship Event at KCHA, a decade-long tradition of helping shelter dogs find loving forever homes.
From December 16 through January 2, West Law Firm will once again sponsor dog adoptions at the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association (KCHA), covering adoption fees to help remove financial barriers for families ready to welcome a new four-legged family member during the holidays.
A Decade of Giving Back
What began ten years ago as a simple idea — helping dogs find homes during the holidays — has grown into a cherished community tradition in Charleston, West Virginia. Over the past nine years, this event has helped countless dogs leave the shelter and start new lives with loving families throughout the Kanawha Valley and beyond.
This year’s event marks an exciting milestone: 10 years of compassion, community partnership, and life-changing adoptions.
What Makes the 10th Annual Event Special
To celebrate this milestone year, West Law Firm is proud to sponsor:
- Free dog adoptions from December 16 through January 2 — there are currently 78 adult dogs that need adopted. West Law Firm will sponsor the adoption fees for as many of the 78 dogs as can be adopted between December 16th and January 2.
- Reduced barriers for families looking to adopt during the holidays
- A continued partnership with KCHA, whose team works tirelessly to care for animals in need
By covering adoption fees, our goal is simple: help more dogs find safe, loving homes while creating space at the shelter for other animals who need care.
