Your Role:

As a personal injury lawyer, you will:

• Manage a caseload of diverse, serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including car accidents, truck accidents, slip and falls, and more.  
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
• Work collaboratively with our team and help manage support staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Participate in continuing legal education and professional development paid for by the firm.

Qualifications:

• Education & Bar Status: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the West Virginia State Bar.
• Experience: Two (2) to five (5)+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).  
• Legal Expertise: Demonstrated success navigating the West Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure, drafting litigation documents, and appearing in court.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of client satisfaction.
• Professionalism & Ethics: Commitment to the highest standards of professional integrity, work quality, and client service.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using digital case management software and e-filing systems. 
• Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Ethical, compassionate, and client-focused approach.
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
