Charleston, WV Man Arrested for DUI After Crashing Into Police Cruiser
Summersville, WV – On Tuesday, November 30, 2022, around 10:00 p.m., a head-on crash involving a Summersville police cruiser resulted in the arrest of a Charleston, West Virginia, man. Brandon Michael Eads allegedly fled deputies while driving under the influence. The wreck happened on U.S. Route 19 in Nicholas County, West Virginia, around Summersville after he travelled north in the southbound lanes. He also struck two other vehicles while driving in the wrong direction before the head-on crash with the police cruiser.
Eads faces charges of one felony count of driving revoked for driving under the influence third offense, one felony count of fleeing while driving under the influence, and one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence second offense. He is currently incarcerated at Central Regional Jail.
